After you fill up your event or distance book, make a copy and mail the original to AVA. They will process it, and send back your award incentives. You do not have to be a member of AVA to join the East Tennessee Wanderers (ETW), or to earn kudos for your distance/event books from AVA.
Note: There is also the possibility of sending your finished book electronically. Please call 210-659-2112 for details.
There are added benefits for joining AVA such as:
A 10% discount on most AVA merchandise.
A 10% discount on the National Convention registration full package and other signature events hosted by the National Office.
An annual subscription to The American Wanderer (TAW), a national walk publication of the AVA.
The opportunity to participate in the Centurion Challenge Program.
Each AVA individual member is entitled to participate in AVA Membership meetings.
Each AVA individual adult (18+ years) is entitled to one vote on each matter submitted to a vote of the members.
The cost of individual membership is $25.00 per year. Lifetime memberships is being phased out and not available anymore for new members. If you have any questions, please contact Henry@ava.org.
